L&T to develop world’s biggest cricket stadium at Motera

The Gujarat Cricket association (GCA) came a step better to realising their plans of transforming the Sardar Patel Cricket stadium in Ahmedabad – more commonly referred to as Motera stadium – in to the biggest cricket stadium in the world in terms of seating capacity.

The GCA awarded the contract to Larsen & Toubro (L&T) – who were awarded the contract for Qatar’s Al Rayyan Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Arabia Saudita stadium as well as Precinct together with JV partner Al Balagh earlier this year – to begin work on building of the new cricket stadium.
